The heart of this ministry is to connect and equip coaches' wives with a Biblical foundation so that they can thrive within the unique challenges of the coaching life, and impact the world of sports as a coaching family.

Meet the Founder...
Candace and her husband Brian spent the first ten years of their marriage as missionaries in Brazil with Campus Outreach Ministries. After returning to the States in 2008, they settled in Georgia where Brian began his career as a Varsity High School football coach, track coach and later the strength and conditioning coach. Candace began serving coaches’ wives locally in 2013, and she created Coaches’ Wives Ministry to provide discipleship opportunities and resources for coaches' wives both in her area and in other locations as well. Her experiences as a coach’s wife, mother of 3, writer and missionary inspires her to encourage and equip coaches’ wives on the mission field of sports, and to help sports ministries and coaches’ wives groups internationally establish discipleship opportunities locally as well.

Shannon Purvis
Shannon serves as our Social Media Manager! When women find us via Facebook, Instagram or Google, Shannon is the one they meet! She has been a coach's wife for 9 years and loves serving other coaches' wives through this ministry role and through writing for our blog.
Angel Burdette
Angel serves as a small group leader in our virtual bible studies and supports local CWM leaders as well. In her own words, she "loves to love", and serves our members in practical ways. Angel has been a coach's wife for 4 years, and loves to help other women grow in their heart for the Lord.
