When you are a coach’s wife, most people know who you are and many people have expectations and opinions of you- even if you’ve never met them before! Some think the coach’s wife should always be the team mom or president of the touchdown club. Some think she should be seen but not heard cheering loudly at the games! Then there are those who are supportive and encouraging to the coach’s wife, which is a blessing, and hopefully you’ve had this experience before! Regardless of your situation, please be encouraged to “live for an audience of ONE”, and use your gifts and abilities He has given you to live out your calling. Remember that the Lord has uniquely designed you and your family team for this coaching life and HE is cheering you on!

Lord Jesus,
Thank you that we are fearfully and wonderfully made! No matter what the situation, or what someone else might think, we pray that our focus will be on You and what You think! Thank you for Your great love for us, and for being on our side. Amen.
